And now, Ritchie Blackmore has a group with his wife, Candace Night (not her real last name) called Blackmore’s Night, and they do mostly Rennaisance-inspired music in a modern way, and there are some more prog-rock/rock-inspired stuff there, too. I’d love to write stuff for that group but if he’s really like how he’s portrayed in this post, I really doubt that’ll ever happen… :(

It is now too large to sustain itself without external funding. If they had only listened to Linus Torvalds regarding controlled growth, and separating divisions of a company. Look at Fedora and Redhat. Prime example of a good business decision where the cash was kept separate from the development. Or Debian (which Ubuntu is based off of) where it truly is free! There are external consultants and companies that can provide support. BSD … but I ramble!
Bottom Line, listen to the customer and you will profit. Follow the “Competition” *cough*$oft*cough* and you will develop crapware.
