18 year old orange cat took over my new guitar&#8217;s case within a time span of five seconds<\/li>\n<li>I like big butts and I can not lie<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m sleepy<\/li>\n<li>I wish my parents were millionaires<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On that last point, had my parents been exceedingly wealthy, by this point in my life I would have crashed my 5th or 6th Ferrari around a palm tree.\u00a0 But NOOOO&#8230; I have to work for a living and I&#8217;m saddled with this darned &#8220;compassion for my fellow man&#8221; and this darned &#8220;conscience&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Being a spoiled rich teenager would have been fucking SWEET.\u00a0 I would have had all the pussy I wanted and probably all the cocaine I could have snorted.\u00a0 That&#8217;s what rich kids do right?\u00a0 Help me out here.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, I have to shop at Wal*Mart like everyone else.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG00017-20100608-1842.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1023\" title=\"IMG00017-20100608-1842\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG00017-20100608-1842-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG00017-20100608-1842-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG00017-20100608-1842-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG00017-20100608-1842.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Is that how you spell it?\u00a0 I remember when I worked at my first job counting retail inventory, the folks at 7-11 would get \u00c1\u0153BER pissed if you didn&#8217;t spell it &#8220;7-Eleven&#8221;.\u00a0 Like it fucking matters.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/apu.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1024\" title=\"apu\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/apu-300x293.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/apu-300x293.gif 300w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/apu.gif 358w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&#8220;Silly customer!\u00a0 You can not hurt a Twinkie!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And now to provide the answer to a question I asked in yesterday&#8217;s meaningless and dreary blog post.\u00a0 No, I did not go to bed early and get lots of sleep like I needed to do.\u00a0 Yes, I did call one of the lovely ladies on NiteFlirt and talk to her for 73 minutes as I ordered her around the robot lab and got her to show off her robotic nature and her electronic circuitry to the other fembots around her.<\/p>\n<p>So I went to bed all giddy and happy and fantasizing about fembots.<\/p>\n<p>Then again, that last part I do every night.<\/p>\n<p>And every day.<\/p>\n<p>Have I finished spilling the contents of my mind into today&#8217;s blog post?<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps.<\/p>\n<p>One more thing.\u00a0 I have a habit left over from my Commodore 64 days.\u00a0 When I&#8217;m typing something&#8230; anything at a computer, and I make a mistake&#8230; I rarely use the mouse or even the arrow keys to go back and fix it.\u00a0 No, I always go straight for the backspace key so I can delete the previous text and re-type the correct text.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve done it about 10 times in this paragraph alone.\u00a0 This is a seemingly unbreakable habit left over from when I used a word processor called &#8220;SpeedScript&#8221; for the Commodore 64.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/SpeedScript_3.0.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1025\" title=\"SpeedScript_3.0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/SpeedScript_3.0-300x207.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/SpeedScript_3.0-300x207.png 300w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/SpeedScript_3.0-1024x709.png 1024w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/SpeedScript_3.0.png 1328w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThis program was printed line-by-line in a magazine, and to &#8220;install&#8221; it on your computer, you had to enter it in line-by-line and then save it to a diskette.\u00a0 But it worked.\u00a0 And I remember printing school assignments on my Commodore MPS-801 dot matrix printer after I had typed them into SpeedScript.<\/p>\n<p>You could customize the screen and text colour too, and I always preferred dark blue text on a white background.<\/p>\n<p>Ah, those were the days.\u00a0 Actually, no they weren&#8217;t.\u00a0 My childhood was fucking miserable.\u00a0 THESE are the days, I must say.<\/p>\n<p>Zoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These are some things.\u00a0 Not a few of my favorite things, but just some things I know.
