Ah, Vegetation Day.\u00a0 Actually, I took yesterday off as a day of vacation, so I’ve already had a day of doing nothing.\u00a0 But I did stuff yesterday.\u00a0 In fact, I was quite busy.<\/p>\n
Since moving back into my parents’ house, I’ve had to put up with the fact that it’s not my house and I can’t really decorate it the way I want.\u00a0 For the longest time, there were two old filing cabinets directly to my left from where I’m sitting now.\u00a0 The bottom one contained 2 drawers full of cookbooks and recipes clipped from newspapers and magazines.\u00a0 The top one contained 4 drawers full of crocheting yarn.<\/p>\n
Now, I don’t have to tell you that this is not my stuff.\u00a0 But I will.\u00a0 It ain’t my stuff.<\/p>\n
So, as a service to the cats in this house, I emptied out the yarn cabinet and hauled it up to the attic.\u00a0 I got a nice soft and thick towel to place folded over the bottom filing cabinet and placed a cat “stump” in front of it.\u00a0 And since I’ve done that, all three cats here have been extremely grateful for it.<\/p>\n
They can now go from the stump to the top of the filing cabinet to the top of a chest freezer.\u00a0 I’m just wondering when the territorial fights will start.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
