&#8220;Cryptorchid&#8221; \/ &#8220;Elektrik&#8221; by Marilyn Manson \/ King Crimson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight, I give you (as far as my iPod will generate by itself) a mashup.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Jj_vCNevsfY\" target=\"_blank\">Cryptorchid<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\" http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d_6VSdJ1-bI#t=0m45s\" target=\"_blank\">(live version of) Elektrik<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These two songs came on one-after-another as I walked home from Wal-Mart.\u00a0 There are no other stores.\u00a0 All glory to Wal-Mart!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/hypnotoad.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-165\" title=\"hypnotoad\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/hypnotoad-300x225.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/hypnotoad-300x225.gif 300w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/hypnotoad.gif 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(Click me!!!)<\/p>\n<p>I have a smattering of Marilyn Manson on the iPod.\u00a0 I honestly haven&#8217;t listened to much of it.\u00a0 Some of it sounds pretty fucking boring, although I do think he has a great voice for the music he makes.\u00a0 And some of it is great.<\/p>\n<p>And of course, King Crimson needs no introduction.\u00a0 Unless you don&#8217;t know who they are.\u00a0 They go WAY back.\u00a0 No.\u00a0 Back further.\u00a0 Further.\u00a0 That&#8217;s about it.\u00a0 1969.<\/p>\n<p>These two songs seemed to be one as I walked home.\u00a0 But I knew they weren&#8217;t, and the familiar beginning of &#8220;Elektrik&#8221; made me think &#8220;This sounds like King Crimson&#8221; as I listened.\u00a0 The effect is very cool to listen to them back to back.\u00a0 I often notice when songs seem to merge together like this on my iPod as I commute to and from work.\u00a0 These ones work pretty good together, and I swear that in both songs, there&#8217;s some talking a goin on about the number 7.<\/p>\n<p>Song #1 is from an album called &#8220;Antichrist Superstar&#8221;.\u00a0 I remember when it came out.\u00a0 I was not a Manson fan back then, but I liked some of his stuff.\u00a0 Same goes for today.\u00a0 That&#8217;s all I have to say about that.<\/p>\n<p>Song #2 is from King Crimson&#8217;s latest (and probably last) studio album, &#8220;The Power to Believe&#8221;, which came out in 2003.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a very good album, but then again, KC doesn&#8217;t have bad albums.\u00a0 Some of their albums are much maligned by even KC fans, but I like them all.<\/p>\n<p>Listen to Trey Gunn play the fucking bass on this song!\u00a0 Fuck!\u00a0 Jot!\u00a0 Zoy!\u00a0 Dolf!<\/p>\n<p>Very good music, and who knew that they could go together like peanut butter and chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of things that can be mixed, I would like to give a shout out to my Furry friend.<\/p>\n<p>Hello, Uncle Furry!<\/p>\n<p>And THIS is an &#8220;Anthroid&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/KarTune3B.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-166\" title=\"KarTune3B\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/KarTune3B-206x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/KarTune3B-206x300.jpg 206w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/KarTune3B.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 206px) 100vw, 206px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nYIFF!!!<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s the Furry version of an android.\u00a0 You know, I&#8217;m such a horndog, I&#8217;d probably fuck this chick, even though she&#8217;s covered in fur, has a snout, and SIX FUCKING LIMBS.\u00a0 Very intriguing, but I&#8217;m still a fan of those lovely female humanoid robots. ;)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/robot_actroid_der_sfw.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-167\" title=\"robot_actroid_der_sfw\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/robot_actroid_der_sfw-210x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/robot_actroid_der_sfw-210x300.jpg 210w, http:\/\/www.gratuitousscience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/robot_actroid_der_sfw.jpg 432w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 210px) 100vw, 210px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n(Note to the makers of that fucking hideously ugly &#8220;True Companion&#8221;
