Here’s a live version<\/a>… which is decent.\u00a0 How many of you out there have the album “Zaireeka” from 1997?\u00a0 No one?<\/p>\n

Zaireeka is an oddity.\u00a0 It’s actually 4 CDs, but they’re meant to be played all at once start-to-finish.\u00a0 Yep, that’s right.\u00a0 The album is spread out over 4 discs, meant to be played on 4 CD players with 8 speakers.\u00a0 That kind of thing can only be done with at least 2 people listening so that 4 hands can start the CD players in sync.<\/p>\n

I’ve never heard the album that way, but it’s one of my favorite albums nonetheless.\u00a0 It’s certainly my favorite Flaming Lips album.\u00a0 I mixed all 4 discs together into stereo mp3 files… which is called cheating.<\/p>\n
