Let’s try to write a Song of the Day post and forget that my head feels like it’s going to burst open!\u00a0 Yay!<\/p>\n

Today the weather changed drastically here.\u00a0 It went from early Spring pleasant to fucking South Pole blizzard in about an hour.\u00a0 And my head feels bad. :(<\/p>\n

But never mind that.\u00a0 Here are some random words.\u00a0 Avast!\u00a0 Conflagration!\u00a0 Telefunken!\u00a0 Spinegroovy!\u00a0 Arbiniturationousness!<\/p>\n

I made up those last two.\u00a0 The very last one just now, and that penultimate word many years ago.\u00a0 I was on the bus going to work, and as I do physical work, I was tired.\u00a0 I was sleeping on the bus, and as I suddenly woke up, that word just popped into my mind.<\/p>\n

Spinegroovy.<\/p>\n

Say it with me.<\/p>\n

It is generally not a good idea to sleep on a bus.\u00a0 Unless you own that bus.\u00a0 But not if you’re driving.<\/p>\n

I guess I don’t have much to say about this song.\u00a0 Actually, I do.\u00a0 Let’s get back on track.\u00a0 See, I’m all dizzy and confused and frazzled and discombobulated from the codeine I’ve been taking all day.\u00a0 Those boxes weren’t going to wrap themselves, no sir.\u00a0 And same with those pallets.\u00a0 You think they’d just wrap themselves?\u00a0 I think not.<\/p>\n

You can buy pallet wrapping robots you know.\u00a0 They look like this:<\/p>\n

\nThat is what I says.\u00a0 Anyway, I first heard this song when I was a teenager.\u00a0 Back then, and still to this day for all I know, there was a Heavy Metal radio show on the local university’s radio station.\u00a0 It was on every Saturday night and it was called “Megawatt Mayhem”.\u00a0 I used to tape the broadcasts and get some great tunage that way.\u00a0 One of the songs the DJ played was this weird non-metal song by this odd non-metal band.<\/p>\n

He introduced it as something out of the ordinary, which it was.\u00a0 I loved it though.\u00a0 So I chose to keep that track in my collection of “Megawatt Mayhem” tapes.\u00a0 I had 22 tapes (C90s) full of music.\u00a0 Sadly, I recorded over them eventually.\u00a0 I shouldn’t have, because I had some stuff on there that I can’t even recall, except for the fact that I enjoyed it immensely.<\/p>\n

Like that song that went “Da dun-dun-dun-dun dun-dun-dun-dun dun-dun-dun-dun dun-dun-dun-dun”.\u00a0 Man, what a great song.<\/p>\n

But I’m rambling again.\u00a0 I later heard this song again when I was drunk with my ex and we were watching Beavis and Butt-head.\u00a0 It was one of the videos they were watching and talking about.\u00a0 I don’t remember what they said about it.<\/p>\n

And now hear it is again.\u00a0 Get it?\u00a0 Hear it is!\u00a0 Ha!\u00a0 That’s the first time ever that anyone has ever made that pun.\u00a0 Ever.<\/a><\/p>\n
