Well, I did lots of stuff yesterday, so today was declared to be Vegetation Day.\u00a0 I accomplished not much more than sitting on my ass playing video games and reading.\u00a0 To be specific, I played another long round of Civilization 2 while I had my text-to-speech program read articles on Wikipedia about geological epochs.<\/p>\n
You could therefore say that it was an epoch weekend.\u00a0 And you could also say that when I won my game of Civ2 it was an epoch win.<\/p>\n
But you could also be excused for not saying that.<\/p>\n
And here I am at the tail end of that weekend, having slept through most of it and getting ready for bed right now.\u00a0 You see, it’s getting very busy where I work now.\u00a0 And to make matters worse, someone I work with is becoming fond of not showing up.\u00a0 I like physical work, but too much of it is not a good thing.<\/p>\n
But there was another good thing that has recently occurred.\u00a0 The hosting company that hosts FembotWiki recently moved the site to a new server.\u00a0 I’m guessing that this is because the old server was about to fail.\u00a0 In any case, the new server is all 64 bit, and I can notice already that it’s much faster.\u00a0 Updating the wiki was a snap today.\u00a0 I still wish I had more time to write articles and fully sort all the images that have been uploaded.\u00a0 I also wish more people would help out.\u00a0 Oh well.<\/p>\n
