Yesterday was an odd day.\u00a0 There’s an old saying in Calgary….<\/p>\n
“If you don’t like the weather in Calgary, wait 5 minutes.”<\/p>\n
How very true.\u00a0 Yesterday, while I was at work, I opened a bay door to see that the sun was out for the first time in days.\u00a0 It has been unseasonably cold and snowy (yes, SNOW) here this past week.\u00a0 It has really sucked.<\/p>\n
I was glad to see the sun, and I thought that maybe it would be a decent afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n
10 minutes later, I opened the same bay door to see that the sky was dark with ominous black storm clouds and it was once again snowing.\u00a0 What the fuck?!<\/p>\n
Then 10 minutes after that, I opened the same bay door yet again to see that it was brightly sunny, and that the snow which had collected on the ground was now gathering as evaporating water in little puddles.<\/p>\n
So, that saying is quite literally true.<\/p>\n
My, how things change.<\/p>\n
Just like other things can change very fast.\u00a0 In about 5 seconds, actually.\u00a0 Like when somebody you know and trust – and even in some ways respect and admire – turns out to be a backstabbing little prick.<\/p>\n
