Nova Venus is a role playing game in which the player takes on the role of a freelancer and space junk collector on his ship The Pioneer. The player can travel freely to locations such as the space station L3, the Moon, Mars, and various asteroids and other places. The prologue has the player getting acquainted with his ship and the systems onboard, particularly with his computer. This prologue leads the player step by step with what needs to be done before arriving at L3 to sell space junk. When the player gets to L3, he must redeem the space junk he’s collected, and wait to be paid for it. I suggest going dancing to pass this time. When the player has the money, he must go and buy an android body for his ship’s computer to reside in and control. The player has a choice of 5 different androids to buy inside Digital Desire. Choose whichever of these 5 androids you find most appealing to you – she will be your companion for the duration of the game. Once the player has bought the android companion, you can return to The Pioneer. If you forget where you parked, ask one of the white plastic TK-7 humanoid robots to remind you. When you are back onboard your ship, simply talk to the ship’s computer again. She will install herself into the android body and ask to make love to you. Go to your bedroom on The Pioneer and have sex with your android companion. When this is done, you can return to L3 and check out all that this space station has to offer. All you really need to do right now is to purchase weapons for you and your android companion. Visit the Armaments and Munitions store to buy two laser blasters. After this (bought android - made love to android - bought weapons) you are free to go anywhere and do anything you like in Nova Venus. All of the main story quest content, side quests, and other activities are available for you, as long as you have the money. Remember you can go and pick up space junk any time to get more money. When you first pick up your android, you will get the very important "Talk to Companion" item at this point. Use this item by going into the menu screen, selecting Items, and then Special Items. Activate the "Talk to Companion" item and you will be able to have conversations with your new android. This is crucial because due to the fact that she is the ship's computer, all navigation and travel must start by talking to her by using this item. When you're onboard The Pioneer, "Navigation" will be the first menu item when you talk to your android. The layout of L3 has the following amenities: Level 6 N -L3 Salvage Exchange NE -Space Saloon E -Digital Desire SE -Repair and Restore S -Armaments and Munitions SW -Orbital Bistro W -Space Protection NW -Interplanetary Commissary Level 7 N -ISSC Mars Office E -Space Force Bounties Office S -ISSC Venus Office W -Deliar Spacer Corporation Level 8 N -Space Force Weapons Training E -DiscoTech S -The Recreation Presentation W -Interfaith Chapel Level 9 ALL -Robot Revolt You should visit each of these locations so that you can find out what they’re all about. You will meet friends and interesting NPCs in each of them. You can get a map from the female TK-7 robots on Level 3, 4, and 5 of the space station. It’s recommended that you talk to people and androids around L3 first to open up some of the side quests before jumping into the main story quest. To get these side quests available, you will need to access the back rooms of many of these locations. To get a “Door Codes” list, go into the Space Saloon and start flirting with the robot bartender. If you flirt with her enough times, then the next time you talk to her (with your companion present) she’ll give you the Door Codes list. Then you can explore and start the many side quests to help people and androids around L3. It’s good to do this before starting the main story quest because one of these side quests can not be completed if the main story quest has already been started. Once you have some or all of these side quests complete, you can initiate the main story quest by talking to Riku inside the ISSC Venus Office. He will tell you that the Space Force Bounties Office is accepting applicants. You will need to go there and talk to Captain Mason of the USSF. She will tell you how to proceed from there. She will also give you directions and information through every stage of the main story quest. But I recommend that you go to Mars first. Travel to Mars requires a permit, which you can buy from Dean inside the ISSC Mars Office for 1000 credits. I recommend going to collect some space junk in order to accumulate 20,000 credits or more so that you can buy an android to automate the space junk collecting station. This isn’t required, but something to keep in mind. It makes collecting space junk much faster and more enjoyable. Having plenty of credits on Mars is also important to allow you to experience all that Android City has to offer. Android City is in the “Industrial and Automated” part of Mars, so make sure you get the right travel permit from Dean. Android City offers a restaurant, lingerie boutique, art gallery, android showrooms, brothel, theater, bar, administrative office, a park, and android apartments. There is a lot to do in Android City, especially if you like dating the android residents and making love to robots in the brothel. There is a hidden side quest that only opens up if you’ve had 10 sexual interactions with androids in the brothel – either 10 female or 10 shemale androids, take your pick. If you have accomplished this, then there will be a new android NPC inside the brothel that you can talk to, and a new NPC onboard L3 that will initiate this hidden quest. If you want to visit the “Commercial and Residential” side of Mars, you can do this if you have the right permit too. There isn’t as much to do here, but it’s still worth checking out. You’ll have to come here during the main story quest, so you might as well see what’s going on here. That should get you started in seeing what Nova Venus has to offer. There are some hidden features and hidden side quests that can be unlocked, like the one mentioned above. So explore, talk to NPCs, and pay attention to what they say. Many NPCs will react to events in the game, so interact with them whenever yuo meet them. Some might even offer additional side quests. Cheat function If you want to “cheat” while you play Nova Venus, you can do this too. While you’re inside the Pioneer, stand on the ladder that leads down to the cargo bay. When you press the button you will comment to yourself that you don’t need to go down there because the robots at L3 handle the space junk. But after this, press the button 10 times in a row. You will get a message that cheat mode has been enabled. To disable cheat mode, press the button 10 times in a row while standing on this spot again. The Secret of Lycoris Manor Nova Venus contains two entire games within a game, the first being The Secret of Lycoris Manor. This is available to be experienced from The Recreation Presentation on L3, and is available at any time after the prologue. Simply go to The Recreation Presentation and talk to the chrome female robot there. One word of advice is that this simulation is "faulty" from the start, so you will always lose no matter what. To fix this, play through the simulation, then talk to the android in the back room of The Recreation Presentation. After this, the next time you play this simulation, it will be "fixed", and you will be able to fully play through it will all possible endings available. The Forever Endeavor This is another full game inside Nova Venus, available from The Recreation Presentation. Simply enter the simulation whenever you like, and enjoy a classic style JRPG. This experience is intended for pure fun gameplay of questing, leveling up, and defeating an evil wizard.
