I am extremely proud and happy to announce that my latest video game Nova Venus is now available for download!
Nova Venus is a massive and immersive role playing game that takes place in the near future of 2092 in the inner solar system. You play as a space junk collector who gets involved in unraveling a dangerous conspiracy. This is in essence a game about androids. Many activities and quests in Nova Venus revolve around exploring the relationships between humans and androids, android autonomy, and more. This is the kind of game that requires attention to play, and some time to let things develop and see things through.
Nova Venus has more than 25 hours of content to experience and enjoy. This content is in the form of the main story quest, dozens of side quests, mini-games, immersive activities, and even two entire games within a game. I designed and constructed Nova Venus to have more immersive and reactive features than the average JRPG, and over the 18 months it took me to script everything out, I built more than 60 different interactive systems that underpin everything and serve to make the experience possess qualities of an open world game and a space simulation. Nova Venus pushes its feel and gameplay far beyond what most games made with RPG Maker accomplish.
After a certain point, you can go anywhere you like and do anything you like, as long as you have the money to afford that. You’ll be able to engage with the main story quest, get rich by automating your space junk collecting, vacation on Mars, and more. You’ll be able to visit a fully featured recreational space station, and also to be able to visit people on Mars. Android City on Mars will be particularly appealing to those who wish to engage in a dating sim activity, or just to frequent the brothel to have sex with androids.
There are also two complete games within Nova Venus that can be experienced as “VR Simulations” while onboard the space station. These are full role playing games of their own, and they can be engaged with at any time and for however long you desire.
The first is called The Secret of Lycoris Manor, and it is a Gothic-themed vampire horror JRPG. It has multiple endings and a suitably creepy Gothic atmosphere.
The second is called The Forever Endeavor, and it is a classic style JRPG that lets you battle monsters, get better gear, level up, and save the realm by completing a quest for the King.
